Returns & Exchanges
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we gladly accept returns and exchanges on merchandise within 30 days of receipt for items that HAVE NOT BEEN WORN, WASHED OR USED and with ALL tags attached.  Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Please note:  all sale, personalized, special order, or drop ship items are not returnable; these sales are final.

How do I make a return or exchange?  
Simply follow the instructions on the invoice included with your package. Securely pack and seal the return merchandise and invoice in an appropriate shipping box or envelope and send back to us using an insured service to the above address. (This will provide you with recourse on your package, as we cannot accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves). Please note: We do not refund initial or return shipping and handling charges. Items designated as FINAL SALE are not returnable.


When will my credit card be refunded?  
Once your package has been received at Our Baby, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within five business days. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from ourbaby.com.


Special Orders
Typically 8-14 weeks is needed to manufacture and ship Special Order items.  The actual time frame will depend on the item you purchase, and no time frame for completion is guaranteed.  Significant delays by a vendor, although rare, can occur.  Because Special Orders are manufactured to your specifications, a deposit of 50% of the purchase price is required at the time the order is placed.  Due to the unique character of each Special Order, CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED.  If for some reason you are unhappy with the final product and wish to cancel your order or refuse delivery, you will forfeit your 50% deposit as a cancellation fee, and you will be responsible for any cost associated with picking up and restocking already delivered items.  

Your order, (including floor samples) must be delivered or picked up within 2 weeks of receipt of goods to avoid additional storage fees.  Layaways will be held for a maximum of 2 weeks with a 50% deposit.  You will forfeit your deposit for merchandise in our warehouse for more than 6 weeks.  


In-Store Pick-Up
Place your order online with us and pick your item up at the Our Baby store on Elston Avenue:  no charge (item will be drop shipped to our store)


Delivery Information
Our larger items (furniture, cribs, mattresses, dressers, etc.) are available by local delivery only.  Local delivery is available in the greater Chicagoland area and other areas within a 100 mile radius of our zip code, 60618.  Local delivery of these items costs $150-$300, depending upon the order (please call for more information).  If the item you wish to purchase is identified as local delivery only and you are outside the area and wish to purchase the item, please call us at  (773) 588-5120 for more details.  Please note, all sale, personalized, special order, or drop ship items are not returnable.

We strive to ensure that your purchases will arrive in your home safely and in a timely manner.  Once your merchandise is available in our warehouse, allow on average 2 weeks for delivery.  Our Baby’s delivery service will assemble and place your furniture in the desired room(s) and remove the packaging.  The furniture you are receiving may be moved one time within the same room.  If you need to change your delivery date, please contact Our Baby 24 hours in advance to avoid additional charges.



Fitting in Your Home
You are responsible for making sure that your new furniture will fit not only in the desired room, but also through doorways, elevators, and stairways.  Drivers will not take furniture back to the warehouse that does not fit in your home.  Your room(s) must be cleared of pre-existing furniture.  Hanging of mirrors or any other items are the sole responsibility of the customer.  Customer will incur additional charges for moving or assembling any other items.



Shipping Information
All orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days, and will arrive 5 to 9 business days from the date they were shipped. Special orders will take longer and you will receive an email once your order is processed with an estimated ship date.
