   To prevent discoloring for as long as possible, do not place item in direct sunlight
   To prevent yellowing Ap suggests not use commercial waxes or polishes

Finishes by AP Industries have been tested and approved lead free by Consumer Products Safety Improvement ACT (CPSIA). AP Industries has also tested nearly 20 reagents including water, oil and soap on its finishes.
